The OSTEN Festival invites audiences to explore and celebrate the East of Germany as a landscape of change—for people, nature, and community life. OSTEN is a festival of art and mutual curiosity. In sites of industrial heritage, artists present theater and music pieces, performances, and films, many of them premieres. Workshops, talks, excursions, and numerous other events offer fresh perspectives on the present and future, providing opportunities for meaningful conversations and exchange.
